About ClerkWatch
The most expensive information is usually public. It is also scattered across portals, PDFs, and registers nobody has time to check. ClerkWatch watches them and sends the diff.
Why the name
Clerks keep the records. Every license, tender, docket entry, permit, and corporate filing passes through a clerk's office before it becomes public. The change you need to see is almost always published by a clerk, on a page with no feed and no email alert. Watching those offices is the whole job, so the name is literal.
What we do
Nine monitors watch classes of public sources: licensing and rules, tenders, court dockets, marketplaces, attack surface, auctions, patents and trademarks, permits, and grants. Each one snapshots its sources, filters the noise, and sends the changes with the diff, the effective date, and a link to the original record.
Setup is free and done by hand. You tell us the sources you check today, we wire them up, and you get real alerts for two weeks before any invoice. Plans are $25, $39, or $49 per month, and there is no setup fee at any point.
How we work
- Public sources only. No scraping behind third-party logins, no bypassing paywalls, no gray areas.
- Authorization for security monitoring. Attack surface monitoring requires written authorization for every target, and we do not start without it.
- One inbox. Alerts are meant to be read. Quiet weeks are a feature, not a failure.
- Human replies. Messages go to the people who build and run the monitors, and we reply within one business day.
What we will not do
- No fake reviews, invented case studies, or made-up logos.
- No selling your data, no lead lists, no ads, and no sharing of form submissions with anyone.
- No pretending a monitoring service is legal advice. For filings and deadlines that carry legal weight, your attorney stays in charge.
- No dark patterns. Cancel, pause, or change plans by replying to any email.
Where this is going
The long term goal is a public archive of changes: changelog pages anyone can read, with source links, so the record of what changed and when is not locked inside a portal. The sources page is the start of that registry. If a source you check is missing, tell us and we will evaluate it.

You are dealing with the people who build and run the monitors, not a call center. Replies come within one business day, and setup is done by hand.

No. We watch public sources and link to the official records at the agency or court that published them. We are independent and not affiliated with any agency.
